## What it is and how it works

RUG (Registro Único de Garantías Mobiliarias) consolidates the registration of security interests over movable assets in Mexico. The query returns the registered guarantees tied to a company, their creditors, and the status of each entry. RUG reports registered movable guarantees and should not be interpreted as a complete search of every possible encumbrance affecting every asset type.
