What do I need to start?

Only your RFC and your CIEC password. Everything runs in your browser — no installs — and the connection usually takes 2 to 5 minutes.

Why CIEC and not e.firma?

We only need to read your fiscal information, and the CIEC is enough for that. We deliberately do not ask for e.firma because it is a legal signature that can be used to sign documents and file returns — a level of access we do not want or need.

What if my CIEC is wrong or blocked?

You can reset it directly at sat.gob.mx. Once the new CIEC is active, reopen the onboarding link that was shared with you and try again.

Question 4

What do you read from my SAT account?

Accepted Answer

CFDIs issued and received, your Constancia de Situación Fiscal, and related fiscal metadata such as retentions and obligations.

Question 5

Do you ever write, file, or change anything in SAT?

Accepted Answer

No. CRiskCo commits to read-only operations: we never file returns, issue or cancel CFDIs, change your fiscal address or regime, or modify your SAT records in any way — regardless of what the CIEC could technically allow.

Who sees my CIEC?

Accepted Answer

Only CRiskCo systems, under strict access controls. Your CIEC is never shared with the partner that invited you or with any third party.

Who receives the analysis?

Accepted Answer

Only the partner that invited you and that you authorized during the onboarding. The purpose is limited to your relationship with that specific partner.

What kinds of partners use CRiskCo?

Lenders and fintechs for credit underwriting, accounting and ERP platforms for data sync and insights, KYS/KYB and onboarding providers, client/trade-credit teams, insurers, marketplaces, and other B2B partners that need a trusted view of your fiscal activity.

Is my information sold or used for marketing?

No. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Question 10

How do I revoke access or delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Change your CIEC in the SAT portal at any time — this stops any further retrieval. To delete information already processed, email contact@criskco.com from the address you used at onboarding.

How is my information stored?

Accepted Answer

Encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, with role-based access, audit logging on sensitive operations, and handling aligned with Mexico's LFPDPPP.
